[PL-Directors] Administrative Rule Changes for Ready to Read Grant Program

Due to the passage of HB 2116 by the Oregon Legislative Assembly during the 2007 session, there have been changes and additions made to the following OSL administrative rules. The proposed rule

Administrative Rules
 
Oregon Statutes authorize the Oregon State Library Board of Trustees to
adopt rules that clarify and implement the statutory authority provided in ORS 357.206 and 357.209. The process that leads to this adoption of rules is as follows: 
 
Amendments and new rules are proposed and formulated by the Oregon State Library Board of Trustees. Notice of Hearing for the proposed rule changes is given 28 days prior to the actual date of the hearing. A public hearing is held, public comment is heard, and proposed rules are either adopted or rejected. The adopted rules become law.
 
The public hearing will be held October 19, 2007 at 10:00 am, at the Oregon State Library, 250 Winter St. NE, Salem, Oregon
