If you have not provided LearningExpress with your authentication information you will need to go to our implementation website at: http://www.oregon.gov/OSL/LD/technology/sdlp/LearningExpress/. The website has specific instructions for contacting LearningExpress with your authentication information. For implementation questions please e-mail libraries at learningexpressllc.com. Library Development staff are currently working with LE staff to develop promotional materials that will be sent to each Oregon library. Each library will receive posters, bookmarks and a promotional handbook. These materials have been customized with the Oregon State Library logo and LSTA funding information. We plan to send those materials out in mid-December. We will also be offering in-person training in the spring of 2011. We will provide you with more information as we make those arrangements. There are webinars available on-line and registration information is on the implementation website: http://www.oregon.gov/OSL/LD/technology/sdlp/LearningExpress/ If you have questions about setting up access to LEL after reading the information on the support page, please send an e-mail to libraries at learningexpressllc.com. For other questions about the product, contact customer service at customerservice at learningexpressllc.com. If you have difficulties with LE Customer Support, please contact MaryKay Dahlgreen, Jen Maurer or Darci Hanning. As always, please take a few minutes to check your library's information for accuracy. We have fixed a number of things, but please take a close look at your data for: other operating expenditures, reference, and users of public internet computers. A couple of things to remember: reference includes teaching people to use computers and users of public internet computers is a "warm body in seat" count not a non-duplicated people count. If you need to make changes, please let me know between January 3 and January 14 and I can open your survey up for you. If you would like a customized spreadsheet, contact me at 503-378-5027 or ann.reed at state.or.us Thank you to everyone for contributing your data! You will each be receiving (or have received) an envelope or box that will contain a printed promotional handbook, several posters and a packet of bookmarks. Each of these items have been customized for Oregon. We hope to get the materials to you by the end of next week or early the first week of January. We hope that these materials will be useful to you in promoting LearningExpress. The LearningExpress staff will also be contacting libraries after January 10th to offer any assistance they can with promotion. This is exactly what the library development staff would love to do but we don't have the capacity so are very pleased that LE staff will be working with you. LE also has a website with promotional materials that you can download and print here: LIBRARIAN RESOURCES Please take advantage of our Librarian Resources page where you'll find all the tools you need to maximize our resources at your library.
