*         Would you like to help job seekers in your community successfully gain employment?

*         Are you interested in making the most of existing resources for job seekers?

*         Do you want to create a systematic action plan for workforce development services at your library?

In this course, you will learn to support effectual workforce development in your community. Learn strategies and discover free resources you can use to assist individual job seekers, including specific advice related to teens, recent college graduates, and ex-offenders. Develop a systematic plan for overall workforce development efforts that is tailored to your library and community. The instructor will share practical advice and tips based upon his own experiences with innovative projects at Enoch Pratt Free Library, including a Mobile Job Center<https://www.prattlibrary.org/MobileJobCenter/> and Entrepreneur Academy<https://www.prattlibrary.org/EntrepreneurAcademy/>.
