[Prepare_OR-ED] Two NEW PUBLIC HEALTH PREPAREDNESS online courses available!

Hello:

We are excited to announce two new online courses that are available
through the Public Health Emergency Preparedness Program. These courses
are: “Working with Interpreters in a Public Health Setting” and
“Introduction to Communicable Disease and Epidemiology”. 

These Web-based courses provide an introduction to the concepts and
principles of working with healthcare interpreters and of communicable
disease and epidemiology. No prerequisite knowledge or skills are
necessary and the courses range from 45 to 60 minutes in length. Courses
have a book marking feature allowing you to return to the screen you
left at any point.

To take these courses, simply go to the DHS Learning Center,
https://dhslearn.hr.state.or.us, and key in either "PHEP -
Interpreters" (Course #C00338) or "PHEP - Epi" (Course #C00337).

Please read the attached E Learning Gazette and DHS Learning Center
instructions.
