A reminder about the Oregon Board of Forestry’s biennial issue scan:
Comment deadline is 5 p.m. Friday, May 22, 2009
Greetings -
The biennial issue scan provides an opportunity for the public to help shape the Board’s agenda and priorities for the coming two years. Accordingly, the Board is seeking comments about the most important forest-related issues in Oregon, and about how those issues should shape the Board’s work.
As Board Chair John Blackwell noted in launching the 2009 issue scan, thoughtful planning and priority-setting are more important than ever in challenging economic times such as these.
You can find more information about the issue scan, and submit your comments electronically, on the Department of Forestry Web site, at http://www.oregon.gov/ODF/BOARD/index.shtml#2009_Board_of_Forestry_Issue_Scan
Thanks very much.
