"By simply dialing 211, the parent or caregiver is able to receive child care referrals along with secondary community referrals for comprehensive services." Regional Child Care Resources and Referral (CCR&R) organizations helped parents find and access child care and early learning services, and provide professional development and other resources to child care providers and early learning professionals. Starting at the beginning of this month, the services for parents have been transferred to 211Info. Parents can still contact CCR&R, but they'll be directed to call 211. CCR&Rs will now focus on improving and expanding the services they provide to childcare providers and early learning professionals. We know that when a parent transitions out of the military, the whole family transitions. These resources were created to help families navigate changes during this next chapter. Please visit www.sesamestreet.org/veterans for these resources. We also have free print copies of the My Story, My Big Adventure activity book. We can ship these to you by the box (75 books/box) if you are interested. Please email veterans at sesame.org to order books, specifying how many boxes you would like."
