Gay-Themed Picture Books for Children</a> by librarian Patricia Sarles. It seems to be one of the more consistently updated resources for books about gender and sexual orientation. In addition, books are tagged into very specific categories like gay uncles,
tomboys, trans people, gay pride, homophobia, alternative family building, and more. This may be a great resource for finding just the right book a family really needs to help their child see someone like themselves in a book or to introduce a topic families
aren’t sure how talk about with their child. <o:p></o:p></p>

<p class="MsoNormal">Another good resources for finding books on these topics is <a href="http://glbtrt.ala.org/rainbowbooks/rainbow-books-lists">
Rainbow Lists</a>. New lists are posted once a year. Books on these lists go through a vetting and selection process by a committee of librarians—specifically the American Library Association's Gay, Lesbian, Bisexual, and Transgendered Round Table and the Social
Responsibilities Round Table. <o:p></o:p></p>
