[Reforma_or] LGBTQ Library Programming

Hello Reformistas! 

As we all know June is National Pride Month and marks the 50th Anniversary of the Stonewall Riots. This year our library will organize its first ever LGBTQ program with Family Pride Day on Saturday, June 8th. The library recently received a complaint about the library organizing and supporting such a program. I wanted to know if anyone has any experience or advice on educating community members about LGBTQ books or programs?
