Sorry,
Jane Corry

The OLA Leadership Committee is pleased to announce the recipient of an OLA Leadership Development Scholarship of $1000 to Marci Ramiro-Jenkins. She will use her scholarship to attend the Yale School of Management’s online course ˜Fostering Inclusion and Diversity<https://som.yale.edu/programs/executive-education/for-individuals/leadership/fostering-inclusion-and-diversity>™. The focus of this program is on identifying and building key conceptual models, including: promoting behavioral change, redefining leadership, recognition of dimensions of diversity, and reinforcing patterns of (dis)engagement. Marci plans to apply what she learns to her role as Librarian leading EDI and Antiracism projects and initiatives. Please join us in congratulating Marci on taking advantage of this opportunity.

Marci is a reference librarian for the McMinnville Public Library where she has been serving as a community liaison for the last 3 years, promoting advancements in information strategies. She also serves as the chair of the OLA EDI Antiracism Committee which recently completed the EDI Antiracism Toolkit that will be distributed to over 250 public, academic, law and tribal libraries in Oregon. This pioneer project has been very well received by library directors and library leadership in Oregon.
