Good morning,

My name is Joel Santiago and I am a Program Assistant at the Dreamer
Resource Center at Sacramento State. Our center provides resources and
support to undocumented and mixed-immigration status students at Sacramento
State and in the Sacramento region.

*On November 18 and 19, we will host our 6th Annual Keeping the Dream Alive
Conference*. The conference brings together educators and practitioners who
work with undocumented or mixed-status students to share knowledge,
expertise, and emerging practices. Our goal is to enable attendees to
become agents of change in their respective institutions and continue
advancing the success of undocumented students and students from immigrant
backgrounds. We invite you to join us!

With this year’s virtual format, attendance is easier than ever. *The
registration fee for this two-day virtual event is $100 for
Educators/Practitioners and $50 for Student Staff from dream centers and
other programs. (Invoice/PO option allows for payment after the
conference). Furthermore, 50% of registration fees go to our Dreamer
Emergency Fund that supports undocumented students experiencing unexpected

We are also pleased to offer an Undocu-Leadership Student Strand for

strand includes workshops, keynote speakers, and an expert panel that will
provide students tools for leadership and self-empowerment. To
