[Reforma_or] Outreach Specialist position open at BCL (temp/part-time)

Hello,

Beaverton City Library is hiring a part-time (20 hour/week), limited-duration Library Outreach Specialist position to help us get our new grant-funded Library on Wheels van service up and running. This service will start in spring 2023 with a new van that will be similar to a mini-bookmobile and provide weekly visits to sites around Beaverton, bringing books and activities to the community. The person in this role will be helping us build partnerships with community organizations who will be served by the Library on Wheels van and help us determine the initial van route and specific services offered along the route. This position will run for 10 months (Sept-June).

Feel free to forward this to anyone you know who might be interested. Library experience is great but not required; we’d also like to talk with people who have experience doing outreach for other types of organizations, or program coordination experience, or the equivalent.
