The Oregon Department of Revenue is currently recruiting for several full time TAX AUDITOR 1 positions to join our Personal Tax and Compliance Division in Salem.

The Tax Auditor 1 audits the financial records, tax returns and tax records of personal, partnership and corporation tax returns for compliance with Federal and State income tax laws. The Tax Auditor 1 also represents the agency at hearings, updates and maintains policies, forms and systems, provides training to other auditors, serves as a mentor for Tax Auditor Trainees and coordinates special compliance projects.

This recruitment has an underfill option as a Tax Auditor Entry.  Employees hired into the Entry level position will be re-classified to the Tax Auditor 1 upon gaining regular status and meeting the minimum qualifications for that classification.

This recruitment is OPEN UNTIL FILLED.  The first review of applications will take place on February 19, 2013.  If we are unable to fill all vacancies from the first review, additional reviews will be made until current vacancies are filled.
