Oregon electronic filing for personal income tax opens next Tuesday, January 17^th at 6AM. This is your friendly reminder that Oregon follows the federal electronic filing requirement if you plan on filing 11 or more returns during 2012.

Please remember that if your client does not wish to file their return electronically, you must attach federal form 8948, Preparer Explanation for Not Filing Electronically, to your client’s Oregon return. Check box 1 and write your Oregon license number at the top of the form.
