Due to concern about the federal e-file system outage, the IRS has extended the tax filing deadline by one day. The Oregon Department of Revenue is following suit. Federal and Oregon state income tax returns received by midnight tonight (Wednesday, April 18) will be considered timely. Payments for individuals and businesses originally due April 17, 2018 are also extended until midnight tonight. This one-day extension applies to all filing methods (e-file, 2-D, and paper).
