Datamart users,

The Datamart admin team has been hard at work trying to find a replacement for the Hyperion (IR Studio) tool and I am pleased to announce that we have made a breakthrough. We are now approved to move forward and obtain the ‘Oracle Business Intelligence Enterprise Edition’ (OBIEE) query tool software.

There are many items that must be completed before the new tool is operational; however, we are well on our way. We have the OSCIO’s endorsement, as well as, required documents that include a business case, project plan, project charter, etc., which are ready to guide us through a successful project.

Once the product is in place, we will look to start off strong and provide training as soon as possible. After gaining some knowledge of the product, we will start to re-create our Hyperion queries with the new software, as we can have both, Hyperion and OBIEE, open and used at the same time. It will be a slow transition; however, we will work through it together.
