I thought it went very well.  Josh is a great speaker who is very
knowledgeable and obviously likes what he does.  Lots of information
about the JavaFx family of products.  Made me start looking forward to
the full release even though I spend the majority of my time working
with server side code.  

As a not so subtle advertising ploy, Josh gave away some neat goodies
and left a lot of "freebies" to be given away at the next meeting
(Tuesday, October 3).

Josh did post the website where his Sun blog is located:

notable accomplishments are listed there along with some other pretty
cool info.

Hi everyone, 

Since many of you are just coming back from a holiday weekend, I
thought it would be a good idea to send a reminder of our first
official
presentation tonight at 5:30pm in the Public Service Building - more
info below.  

We are not planning any refreshments for this first meeting.  If you
know of any businesses that would like to sponsor refreshments, please
let me know and we will work on that for future meetings.  In the
meantime, bring food and drink if you will need it.
