RE:	2005-06 NASDSE Satellite Series

	
The schedule for the 2005-06 NASDSE Satellite Series is available.
Information for sessions, including specific satellite coordinates, will
be posted on the Department's website at
http://www.ode.state.or.us/search/results/?id=258, several days prior to
each session.  Local ESDs host this event. 

For schools unable to participate in the live session broadcasts for
whatever reasons, the Department will provide taped copies of the
broadcasts for rebroadcast and/or dissemination by ESDs. 

Please contact the special education director at your local ESD to
confirm your attendance at these important training events.  Should you
require further assistance or information, please contact Stella Brown

Implementing the Nation's Education Law for Individuals with
Disabilities

May 3, 2006	Making the Grade: Effective High Schools for All
Students

All sessions will be broadcast from 10 a.m. - 12 p.m. (PT).

November 2, 2005	Differentiated Reading Instruction- Teaching
Every Child 

March 22, 2006	Building Pre-Reading Skills: From Babbling to Books

Both Reading Rockets sessions will air from 9:00 a.m. - 10:00 a.m. (PT).
