RE: 2006 State Disability Tax Exemption Information

Each year we work with the Oregon Department of Revenue to develop the
attached memo on the state disability tax exemption. Please note that
there have been some minor revisions in the memo from last year to bring
the information in line with recent changes in definitions for eligible
disabilities found in federal law. If you have substantive questions
about the law, please feel free to contact Susan Smith at the Oregon
Department of Revenue. Her e-mail is susan.a.smith at state.or.us.

The attached information will also be available on the ODE website.

If you have any difficulty opening the attached document, please contact
Heidi Schulze at heidi.schulze at state.or.us or 503-947-5661.
