RE: IDEA 2004: Special Education Report Card
Under the requirements for IDEA 2004, ODE is publishing a Special
Education Report Card for the first time and districts are being asked
to validate information for the card.
The ODE Report Card/AYP application is being used to validate the
information.
Security Administrators will need to authorize the appropriate district
staff access to the "ODE Report Card/AYP" application if they are not
currently authorized. This may require setting up login IDs for staff
and showing them how to login and get to the application. Once in the
application, there will be a dropdown box "SpEd Report Card PDF" where
staff can access the report card data for the district. Districts will
have two options after reviewing the information (accept or appeal the
data). The validation window is February 1, 2007 through February 16,
2007.
Users needing assistance with the Report Card/AYP application can access
the user guide at
https://district.ode.state.or.us/apps/info/docs/ReportCard_AYP_UG.pdf
<https://district.ode.state.or.us/apps/info/docs/ReportCard_AYP_UG.pdf>
.
District staff should contact their Security Administrator if they do
not currently have a logon and/or access to the ODE report card/AYP
application. The following link can be used to find the district
security administrators.
