RE:      Upcoming NASDSE Satellite Conference 

 

The next session of the 2006-2007 NASDSE Satellite Conference Series is
titled:

Response to Intervention (RtI): Non-Academic Barriers to Achievement -
Addressing School-Based Mental Health and Positive Behavioral
Interventions and Supports.  This broadcast will air on Wednesday, May
9, 2007, from 10:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m. (PT).  

 

Technical coordinates and material handouts will be available on the ODE
web site by the morning of the session at:
http://www.ode.state.or.us/initiatives/elearning/nasdse/.  Local ESDs
usually host this event.

 

For those schools unable to participate for whatever reasons, the
Department will once again provide taped copies of the broadcasts for
dissemination to ESDs to share with school staff.  Please contact the
special education director at your local ESD to confirm your admittance
and attendance to this event.  

 

Also, a streaming media version of this session will be available online
beginning

Monday, May 14, 2007 at 10:00 a.m. PDT.  The necessary link and password
information will be posted with the technical coordinates at:
http://www.ode.state.or.us/initiatives/elearning/nasdse/.
