RE:      Extension of Extended Assessment Data Entry Period

 

The Extended Assessment data entry system was scheduled to close at
midnight last night 5/15/07. In light of system overload, downtime, and
related errors in the server during the day of Tuesday 5/15, data entry
will be extended until no later than midnight Friday 5/18/07. There will
be no further extensions beyond this date.

 

The Extended Assessment data that is entered by 5/18/07 will be loaded
in student staging by 5:00 p.m. on May 25th (without performance
levels).

 

Once the data are loaded into student staging, districts may review
their data to identify errors, missing or mis-entered data.   During a
designated "validation window", districts may request an opportunity to
enter or correct Extended Assessment data in the data entry system on a
case by case basis.   The process for submitting this request will be
sent to District Test Coordinators by 5/18/07.

 

We apologize for any inconvenience that the application problems may
have caused.  Please disseminate this to any school or district
personnel who need to be informed of this update.
