RE: Access to District Secure Website

The message below is also being sent to District Test Coordinators and District Security Administrators in hope of assisting appropriate staff in gaining access to the District Secure Website for the Extended Assessment. Please share this message as you see appropriate. Thank you.

As we approach the Extended Assessment administration window for 2008-09 (February 16 - April 27), please note that you may receive requests from teachers who would like access to the district secure website in order to obtain Extended Assessment materials and/or to enter student data. These individuals may be either Qualified Trainers (QTs) for, or Qualified Assessors (QAs) of, the Extended Assessment. ODE is aware that districts have individual criteria for providing access to the secure website, however, because in previous years teachers have occasionally encountered trouble gaining access due to their district's security criteria, we have been asked to prompt the appropriate district contacts that it is helpful if QTs and QAs have their own access.

Please note that any teacher requests can be verified by contacting Brad Lenhardt at Brad.Lenhardt at ode.state.or.us<mailto:Brad.Lenhardt at ode.state.or.us> . Materials retrieved from the Extended Assessment secure site are secure materials and should be handled according to the security procedures outlined in the test administration manual. Data entered into the Extended Assessment website are part of the state's accountability reporting system and should be entered by reliable and appropriately trained individuals. For additional information please contact Brad Lenhardt (503) 947-5755.

If you have any difficulty viewing this document, please contact Laura Allran at laura.allran at state.or.us<mailto:laura.allran at state.or.us> or 503-947-5674.
