RE: Deadline Reminder (3/17/10): Action is Necessary for the Special Education Report Cards

This is a reminder that action is necessary for validating the Special Education Report Cards.  The deadline is March 17, 2010.

March 9 – March 17:  District Preview:  Drafts of the 2008-2009 Special Education Reports are currently posted on the secure district site for your preview:  https://district.ode.state.or.us/apps/login/.  ODE expects each district to proof its district report and either “Accept” or “Appeal” the report.

If there are errors and the district “appeals”, ODE will expect the district to provide the details of the correction(s) the district is suggesting.  However, please be advised that ODE will not change any data that have been submitted and previously validated by the district.
