RE:  Public Release of the 2008-2009 Special Education Report Cards

The public release date for the fourth annual Special Education Report Cards is Wednesday, March 31, 2010.  In preparation for that date, please review the following timeline and documents that may assist you with this required public reporting:

Timeline

March 29:  Final Special Education Report Cards Available to Districts and Programs
Final pdf versions of the 2008-2009 Special Education Report Cards are now available to districts on the secure district site:  https://district.ode.state.or.us/apps/login/.  Once you have logged in, use the AYP/Report Card application to view your English and Spanish pdfs.  You may need to click on the Special Education Report Card in the drop-down menu in order to view the report card, and not the graduation and dropout data spreadsheet.

March 31:  Public Release of the 2008-2009 Special Education Report Cards
All district and program report cards will be available to the public on the ODE website
at http://www.ode.state.or.us/data/ReportCard/sped/.

ODE will send a press release to the media announcing the public reports.
