[Self-Management_OR] New Candidate added: Please take a few minutes to re-participate in the election of the new Oregon Self-Management Network Steering Committee Members

We are currently in the process of electing at least four new members to sit on the Self-Management Network Steering Committee.

Unfortunately one of the nominated candidates was left off the previous election survey.

The deadline has been extended to October 7 so please make your selection no later than that.

When considering who you would like to see represent the Self-Management Network, it should be noted that because the Steering Committee represents the enitre Network, it is important that its members represent a variety of different self-management programs, diverse cultures, and different areas of the state.

With the departure of John Motter, Chickadee Swanson, Lavinia Goto, and Karen Davis in November, the Steering Committee will lose representation from Central Oregon, the Oregon Coast, and the Salem area. It will also lose representation from the Positive Self-Management Program and the Diabetes Self-Management Program.
