Hi there -
Thanks to initial work done by Deschutes County Health Department (thank you Brenda!), there is now statewide approval for Adult Foster Home providers to receive credit for attending Living Well workshops. Providers from aging/physical disabilities, addictions and mental health, or developmental disabilities foster homes are all eligible for this credit, and will just need to ensure that leaders sign off on paperwork they'll provide that indicates they've attended. These staff provide critical care to others, and we're pleased that they can receive credit for learning skills to self-manage their own ongoing health issues!

(Fyi, in case you want to learn more about Oregon's Adult Foster Home training: http://www.oregon.gov/dhs/spd/Pages/provtools/training/classroom-training.aspx)
