Hello self-management community partners,

We are excited to announce that registration is open for the 2018 Oregon Place Matters Conference, scheduled for Monday October 29th and Tuesday October 30th at the Oregon Convention Center in Portland. The conference is always a great opportunity to connect and network with people from around the state, and to meet and talk with state staff working on health promotion and chronic disease prevention, as well. We look forward to hearing from inspiring speakers from around the country, whose work aligns with Oregon public health priorities. And we always leave inspired by the possibilities that collaboration can move us toward building a statewide movement supporting health for all Oregonians.

The Oregon Place Matters Conference is an opportunity for people who care about health to gain new insights, skills and connections to help address the leading preventable causes of death in Oregon: tobacco, poor nutrition, physical inactivity, and excessive alcohol use.
