[Self-Management_OR] Instructor Training Grants for Local Parks and Recreation Agencies

The National Recreation and Park Association<http://www.nrpa.org/> (NRPA), with the support of the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), is now accepting applications for Instructor Training Grants for Physical Activity Programs. This grant allows local park and recreation agencies to train staff to implement the evidence-based physical activity programs Walk With Ease, Active Living Every Day and Fit & Strong!<http://www.nrpa.org/our-work/partnerships/initiatives/healthy-aging-in-parks/evidence-based-interventions/> These programs are designed to help people with arthritis and other chronic diseases manage their conditions through physical activity engagement and health education. A total of 220 Instructor Training grants will be awarded. Applications are due Monday, November 19, 2018.
