Hello All--
This note comes from Lisa Iverson, President of the Oregon Council for Social Studies.

I would like to inform ALL of you of an amazing opportunity. I am pleased to announce a spring conference April 4, at Grand Ronde titled, "Oregon's First People: A Workshop for Educators" This conference is only $30.00 (includes lunch) AND worth 6 PDUs. This is for ALL subjects and grade levels, especially in light of "Oregon 150", there has never been a better time for elementary and secondary educators to ensure that information about the Oregon's First People is taught. Please take a look at presenters so far; keep in mind this is my rough draft; I will have a formal schedule as we near the conference. The registration brochure is attached. Before you hit that delete button, please read on...
