The recently passed Medicare legislation includes nursing homes as
telehealth originating sites. With this step forward, it will be important
to understand how to implement this new legislative action. One of the key
issues in including nursing homes as telehealth originating sites is
reimbursement. While Medicare has specific and often complicated guidelines
for reimbursement, this presentation will offer guidance as to how best to
prepare for reimbursement for telehealth services in nursing homes.   We
also will have speakers who can offer thoughts on best practices from
existing nursing home projects.  Participate in this Brown Bag event, and
learn how to better prepare yourself or your organization to implement a
telehealth program in a nursing home facility.
