CTeL is excited to announce that it is extending its application deadline to
*January 8, 2010* - for both its CTeL Legal Fellow (law school enrollment
required) and CTeL Policy Fellow (undergraduate enrollment
required) programs.  The CTeL fellows will have the unique opportunity to
gain firsthand experience on legal and regulatory issues related to
telehealth.  This is a chance for young professionals to interact with
leaders in the telehealth community, while being exposed to evolving legal
and policy issues.

Lexington Memorial Hospital, in Lexington, North Carolina, is employing the
skills of RP-7, a telemedicine robot, to better help those suffering from
stroke symptoms.  According to the article, RP-7 is making it possible for
stroke specialists, like neurologists, to immediately tend to patients
through the use of telemedicine technologies.
