Greetings,

Following is an excerpt from a message I received from our fellow TAO member
Doug Romer at Grande Ronde Hospital.

Congratulations! Grande Ronde Hospital has been awarded the National Rural
Health Association’s 2009 Outstanding Rural Health Organization Award! The
Outstanding Rural Health Organization Award is NRHA’s way of recognizing an
organization that has improved access to health services and information for
rural people through innovative, comprehensive approaches.

Your nomination, submitted by Michael Ward of Saint Alphonsus Regional
Medical Center, was judged upon the scope of your accomplishments in rural
outreach, preventative health and education, quality and efficiency of care,
and strong community support and involvement. This was a competitive award,
with many nominations, but the Outstanding Organization Award Committee
feels that your contribution to rural health services is exceptional and
should be recognized.
I am so proud that this exceptional program is a part of Oregon's telehealth
community.

If you would like to congratulate Doug and Grande Ronde Hospital, you can
send an email to dar01 at grh.org .

Cathy
