The Northwest Regional Telehealth Resource Center (NRTRC) was created in
2005 to advance telehealth in the Western Region.  Representatives from 33
health care organizations in 8 states and the US-Affiliated Pacific Islands
worked to develop a collective mission and vision, created a Board of
Directors, by-laws, and a consortium to advance the concept of a multi-state
Center.  The Resource Center is hosting a meeting for their network members
and to meet their new Executive Director, Christina Thielst.  This meeting
is open to representatives of telehealth networks in the states of Alaska,
Hawaii, Idaho, Montana, Oregon, Utah, Washington, Wyoming and the US
Affiliated Pacific Islands (American Samoa, Guam and the Mariana Islands).
