CTeL is excited to announce that it is in now accepting applications for its
Summer Fellowship program - application deadline is *March 30, 2010* - for
both its CTeL Legal Fellow (law school enrollment required) and CTeL Policy
Fellow (undergraduate enrollment required) programs.  The CTeL fellows will
have the unique opportunity to gain firsthand experience on legal and
regulatory issues related to telehealth.  This is a chance for young
professionals to interact with leaders in the telehealth community, while

  VA Hopes to Open Rawlins Telehealth Clinic by June
*

The Department of Veterans Affairs is establishing a telehealth clinic in
Rawlins, Wyoming.  Andrew Ruben, spokesman for the VA, stated that the VA
hopes to open the Primary Care Telehealth Outreach Clinic by June.

The clinic would be equipped with full video conferencing capabilities, so
that physicians in Cheyenne and Fort Collins, Colorado "could conduct
medical exams without the drive."

New FCC Broadband Plan Advocates e-Health Technologies

The Federal Communications Commission has released a new National Broad
Plan, which focuses on expanding the use of telehealth throughout the United
States.  This FCC plan is the result of a 2009 Congressional mandate.
