*Dr. Dale Alverson to Deliver Keynote Address*

Dr. Alverson is one of the most knowledgeable, energetic, and committed
people in telehealth today. He is known throughout the world for his
leadership in bringing telehealth to the forefront of healthcare as a means
of improving access and quality of service for all the world’s citizens.

*Navigating Healthcare’s Perfect Storm*

Dr. Alverson will discuss the “perfect storm” brewing in healthcare
today. This
storm, a product of the Healthcare Reform Act, the global economic downturn,
the lack of healthcare providers, the government investment in broadband
services for healthcare, and the rapid growth of enabling technologies for
patient-centered care, presents unique opportunities for those in telehealth
to collaborate with other healthcare stakeholders. Join TAO and Dr.
Alverson as we begin a dialogue to help create a better healthcare system -
a system that is centered on the patient and provides affordable access to
quality care.

*About Dr. Alverson*
