Clinical/Administrative track and the Technical track.

Presenters with expertise in either of these tracks are invited to submit
an abstract. Abstracts will be reviewed by the Conference Planning
Committee to ensure the integrity and relevance of their content.
Consideration will be given to all abstracts, but preference will be given
to those that align with the conference theme of promotion of Telehealth
adoption and innovation from differing approaches.

*Please feel free to forward this invitation to individuals you feel would
be good Conference presenters!*

   that follow.

*Merit:* What value will this presentation bring to the conference? The

   - Is the work conceptual?
   - Is it in progress or will it be completed by time of the meeting?
   - How long has the service, program or project been underway?

*Clarity of Abstract:* Is the abstract description well written? Does it
clearly, concisely, and logically convey the intent of the presentation and
support the title, background, objectives, takeaways and conclusions?

nature and non-commercial? Does the proposal adhere to ACCME standards?
Proposals that are written in a manner that promotes a product, company, or
service will not be considered for presentation.

*Important Information *

Sessions are 55 minutes long. Presentations should be 45-50 minutes to
qualify for CME for physicians in attendance, with a 5-10 minute wrap-up, Q
& A session. Conference Registration fees will be waived for presenters so
that you may attend the conference sessions and network with other
attendees. Presenters are responsible for their own travel expenses from
their home to Portland, Oregon, and their lodging and meals while in
Portland. Abstracts must be received by Midnight (Mountain Time) on Sept.
30th. Upon notification, speakers will have 3 weeks to confirm
participation in the Conference. Make your presentation lively: keep the
attendees excited and engaged.

   - For presentations in the clinical/ administrative track bear in mind
our theme, *“Telehealth Today: A 360**°** View”*. Share the methods you
have used to engage practitioners, payers and patients in telehealth.
   - Tailor your presentation to our region, that is, a primarily rural,
frequently underserved population. Show attendees how to bring telemedicine
   services to that population.
   - Share your successes *and* lessons learned, if attendees can avoid
mistakes already made, they can move ahead faster.
   - Use PowerPoint® slides and graphics sparingly to augment your
presentation. A laptop, projector and flip chart will be available in the
   meeting room.
   - No commercial presentations, please! If you are a vendor,
contact martha at nrtrc.org
for information on the very popular exhibit opportunity the conference
   offers.
   - All accepted abstracts will be published on the NRTRC conference
   website.
