The Oregon Office of Rural Health is hiring a Clinic Technical Assistance
Specialist.
Please pass this notice along to anyone who might be interested!
The Clinic Technical Assistance Specialist works within the Oregon Office
of Rural Health's Field
Services team to provide, support and technical assistance to rural Oregon
clinics and other rural community
stakeholders. The Clinic Technical Assistance Specialist is the primary
representative and liaison for all Office
of Rural Health clinic-relevant work.
Responsibilities of this position include:
- Provide proactive, evidence-based support for rural clinic quality
improvement, operational and financial improvement and community engagement.
- Plan, coordinate and provide direct, including on-site, technical
assistance to rural clinics, communities and providers including, but not
limited to: Community Needs Assessments and planning; leadership and
governance strategic planning; improving utilization and market-share;
improving financial planning; Rural Health Clinic certification; quality
improvement.
- Conduct research into the services needed by constituent facilities
and communities. For those services beyond the scope of ORH resources,
identify contractors, negotiate the scope of work to be performed and
monitor the contractors' performance.
- Work closely with the Director of Communications to ensure relevant,
current and ongoing communications with clinics, communities and
organizational partners.
- Monitor and share information regarding changes to rules, regulations,
policy and legislation related to rural clinics.
- Proactively develop and maintain strong relationships with relevant
organizational partners and stakeholders to ensure coordinated activities
and to leverage resources for the greatest impact. Design, create and
deliver presentations as needed.
- Support other Oregon Office of Rural Health staff to ensure
accomplishment of overall office mission, goals and objectives. Participate
in the development and implementation of the annual Oregon Rural Health
Conference.
Salary ranges from $48,601 - $72,902/year, commensurate with experience.
