 [image: alan.pitt]*Dr. Alan Pitt to Open the TAO Summit *



Dr. Alan Pitt will open the Telehealth Alliance of Oregon Annual Meeting
and Summit.  His keynote address *Breaking Down the Walls of Telemedicine *will
explore the physical, people, legislative, and reimbursement walls that
keep us from moving away from telemedicine solutions to telemedicine as a
platform for coordinated care.

Dr. Pitt is Attending Physician and Professor at the Barrow Neurological
Institute. Over the past two decades Dr. Pitt has worked at the nexus of
computers and medicine. He believes that aligning patients with the right
person at the right time, can replace fear and anxiety with reassurance,
and prevent unnecessary system costs.



Dr. Pitt currently serves as the healthcare representative to the Digital
Arizona Council and is an Adjunct Professor for the ASU College of Nursing
and Health Innovation.



Dr. Pitt holds degrees from Stanford University (B.A.) and the University
of Arizona (M.D.) with post grad training in Internal Medicine, Neurology,
Radiology, and Neuroradiology.



If you haven’t yet put the dates for this exciting Summit on your calendar,
please do so TODAY!  The Summit begins with the first ever Telemedicine Day
at the Capitol on February 4th.  A reception will be held in the Capitol
that evening, and the Summit will resume at the Grand Hotel and Convention
Center in Salem on the 5th and 6th.
