Greetings,

Another smokey day in the Rogue Valley.  Fires seem to be burning all
around us.  I hope this finds all of you safe from the flames.

   - TAO has finally arrived on Facebook, Twitter, and LinkedIn!  Check us
   out and like us on Facebook at Telehealth Alliance of Oregon, follow us on

   Oregon (group page).  We will be very interested to have your feedback.
   - TAO has a new association member.  Welcome to the Oregon Nurses
   Association!  The ONA (www.oregonrn.org) was founded in 1904 as the
   professional association for nurses in Oregon. A non-profit association,
   ONA is a constituent member of the American Nurses Association. TAO is
   excited to have the opportunity to work with the ONA and its members on
   telehealth issues.
   - If you haven't already done so, mark your calendars for TAO's 9th
   Annual Meeting and Summit to be held March 3 and 4, 2016 in Portland.
   This year's conference theme is "Telemedicine Everywhere: Getting Easier".
   Make plans now to join us for another great Summit!
   - TAO in collaboration with the Oregon Health Authority is conducting a
   series of focus groups throughout the State over the next two weeks.  The
   purpose of these focus groups is to determine the gaps in telehealth
   services and the barriers inhibiting the growth of telehealth in the
   State.  We have a unique opportunity to gather this information and then
   to work directly with those who can help resolve the gaps and barriers
   noted in the groups.  If you provide healthcare services to Oregonians or
   are working with a CCO, and you are interested in participating in one of
   these focus groups, please contact Cathy Britain at csbritain at gmail.com.
