Greetings,
Once again, it's been awhile since the last digest. We are still working
hard to complete the three projects we contracted for with the Oregon
Health Authority. The Law and Policy Review is completed and is being
loaded onto the new version of the web site. The provider facing side of
the telehealth portal is complete and providers will begin loading their
telehealth data next week. The Telehealth Gaps and Opportunities Report is
undergoing final edits and should be ready by the end of the month. All of
these projects should provide valuable information to you and your work in
telehealth.

TAO has been to two conferences in the past month. The first was the Oregon
Connections Conference in Hood River I was on the opening panel, a
retrospective look at the past 20 years if telecommunications activity in
Oregon and a look forward to the future. We did a lot of great networking,
and did a lot of marketing for our own Summit. The highlight of the
conference was that the SB 144 work group that TAO facilitated received the
Oregon Connections 2015 Award for Policy and Legislation. Kudos again to
all involved.

Last week TAO had an exhibit at the Rural Health Conference at Salishan.
TAO member Andy Eck of Mosaic Medical spoke about his telehealth project,
and we got acknowledged for our work on SB 144 from Representative Knute
Buehler. There was a lot of interest in telehealth, and we're looking
forward to having some new faces at the Summit.

Bob Duehmig and I had the opportunity to present a webinar to the OAHHS
members on New Opportunities for Reimbursement and Service Offerings as a
result of SB 144.

It's been a busy month! TAO is now turning our attention to our membership
drive and to preparing for our 2016 Annual Meeting and Summit March 3 and 4
in Portland. Be sure to watch for more information on our newly redesigned
website.
