Greetings,

TAO's Annual Meeting and Summit is just 2 months away.  Have you
registered?  This year's Summit is packed full of great speakers for you to
interact with and workshops with so much information for you to use.  You
can see an updated version of the preliminary program on the Summit webpage

Let me tell you about one of the highlights of this year's Summit.  Each
year TAO has a Policy Forum on Friday morning.  This year we have shaken it
up a bit and we are very excited about the agenda.


​Leading off with our keynote is *Nate Lacktman.  *Nate is a partner and
health care lawyer with Foley & Lardner LLP. He is the Chair of the firm’s
Telemedicine Industry Team and is a well known and respected national
telehealth policy leader.

The policy plenary session will focus on the telecommunication issues that
have come to light recently and could have a significant impact on
telehealth.  Issues like raising the cap on the Healthcare Connect Fund,
FirstNet (the national first responders network), new technologies for
delivering broadband to rural areas, Oregon's CyberSecurity Advisory
Council, and much more.  The panel that will lead us in this discussion are:
