the Distance Learning and Telemedicine Grant program. This program helps
rural communities use telecommunications-based audio and video equipment so
that local teachers and medical service providers who serve rural residents
can link to other teachers, medical professionals, and other needed
expertise located at distances too far to access otherwise. Applicants who
provide educational or health care services to rural communities through
telecommunications facilities are eligible to apply. Applications will be
scored, reviewed and selected on a competitive basis.

This webinar will inform participants about the changes in the program from
the first window, review major eligibility and regulatory requirements of
the program, and provide guidance on how to submit a successful grant
application.  There will also be time for participants to ask specific
questions about the program or the application process.
