HRSA/IEA - Seattle (Region 10) is hosting a rural health webinar to promote
Federal, State, Regional, and HRSA programs and resources that
increase telehealth access  in rural areas. Subject matter experts will
share resources, best practice and success stories on sustaining,
optimizing, and expanding telehealth access in rural communities.

*Meet the Speakers*

[image: NP] *Nichole Perisho, BA, BSN, RN, *Program Director, Northwest
Telehealth Resource Center (NRTRC)

Ms. Perisho serves as the Program Director at the Northwest Telehealth
Resource Center (NRTRC), creating and disseminating information and
resources to expand and sustain telehealth in the NRTRC’s seven-state
region, serving AK, ID, MT, OR, UT, WA, and WY – and beyond. She is an
invited speaker across the country, sharing her deep and broad telehealth
expertise in ways that resonate with participants, including a focus on
telehealth’s critical role in achieving the quadruple aim of reducing cost,
improving quality, enhancing the patient experience and bettering the work
life of health care staff.

Prior to joining the NRTRC Ms. Perisho served as the Virtual Health Manager
at Logan Healthcare in MT, managing all aspects of telehealth delivery,
expansion and improvement. She also served on the NRTRC Advisory Board; in
this role she provided guidance and feedback on the current and future
direction of the NRTRC’s efforts to strengthen and support telehealth in
rural and underserved communities. Her clinical background and years of
telehealth experience in multiple specialties strengthens her knowledge of
the needs of health care providers and patients and translates into an
intuitive approach in supporting and operationalizing telehealth best
practices for health care organizations and teams.

Telemedicine, Asante

Katie Younkin Director of Project Management Office and Telemedicine
@Asante Health System in Medford, Oregon.  Katie has turned her 12 years of
engineering background, into a effective healthcare career for the last 6
years. Katie’s role at Asante is to create and facilitate process for
strategically aligned change from concept assessment to implementation as
the lead of the Project Management Office. She has led telemedicine
projects since her start at Asante; helping the system consider workflows,
technology and timing of need for inpatient and outpatient telemedicine
solutions.

[image: GisL] *Giselle M. Lambert,* MHA, BS, AAS, CDA, Telehealth Program
Specialist, Alaska Native Tribal Health Consortium- Telehealth/AFHCAN
Department

Giselle has 11 years’ experience in direct patient care, and 12 years’
experience in education both in outdoor recreational and formal higher
educational settings. She joined Alaska Native Tribal Health Consortium’s
Telehealth Department in September 2017. As a Telehealth Program Specialist
III, she provides training to statewide Alaska Tribal Health System (ATHS)
organizations and Alaska Native Medical Center (ANMC) clinics as they
incorporate telemedicine into their strategic planning and helps to support
them as they develop and/or expand their programs.  Giselle also works with
the ANTHC Telehealth Product team to develop and deploy telehealth software
solutions across the ATHS and with the Telehealth Technology Assessment
Center (TTAC) team on telehealth peripheral device hardware assessment.

Giselle worked for ten years as an expanded functions dental assistant in
private practice and public health clinics, and enjoys volunteering at
community clinic events. She taught Dental Assisting as a full time, tenure
track faculty member at Renton Technical College in Washington while
earning a master’s degree in healthcare administration at night.  Giselle
has designed, coordinated, and taught a variety of courses on outdoor
recreation, allied health, and faculty professional development topics in
Alaska and Washington.
