From anderson_katie at oslmac.osl.state.or.us Tue Jun 16 12:35:20 2009 From: anderson_katie at oslmac.osl.state.or.us (Katie Anderson) Date: Tue, 16 Jun 2009 12:35:20 -0700 Subject: [TL-Directors] Order by June 23: 2010 summer reading manuals Message-ID: Dear Library Directors, Next year libraries are going to have options for what format they would like for their 2010 Summer Reading Program Manual. Only Oregon public, tribal, and volunteer libraries are eligible to receive the manual for free from the State Library. Therefore, it is not appropriate to send this email out on the other listservs because they have such a wide membership. Please forward this message to the staff member responsible for your library's summer reading program. Orders for the 2010 Summer Reading Program Manual must be placed by Tuesday, June 23rd. To order your copy, please complete the online survey at: http://library.state.or.us/services/surveys/survey.php?sid=511. Please let me know if you have any questions. Every central and branch library may receive 1 copy of the 2010 Summer Reading Manual. There are 2 options: 1) If every location wants the same format, just order one for the central library--we will send each of your branches a copy of the version you order. 2) If each location wants to decide format for themselves, forward the link to the survey to each branch manager and let them fill out the survey. Usually Douglas County Library System gets about 5 printed copies of the manual, to share among HDQ and the branches. Is that possible again this year, and if so, how should I indicate that on the survey, or should we have several different branches order a manual through the survey?
