Hello tribal library contacts,

I just learned the Institute of Museum and Library Services (IMLS) is co-hosting a 2-day summit to discuss issues of broadband access in tribal communities, September 23 & 24 in Washington, DC, with the US Department of the Interior and the US Department of Education. From the IMLS' press release:

"One of [the summit's] primary goals is to lay a foundation for building capacity among Tribal communities to support broadband deployment and adoption, and identify new opportunities for private sector investment in broadband."
