<p class="MsoNormal"><a href="https://www.answerland.org/">Answerland</a> is Oregon’s statewide virtual reference service. The oversight of Answerland was transitioned from Multnomah County Library to the State Library on July 1, 2015. As part of the process,
Answerland’s former <a href="https://www.answerland.org/advisory-board">Advisory Board</a> is being reformed as the Answerland Advisory Committee under the State Library's
<a href="http://www.oregon.gov/osl/LD/Pages/lstacouncil.aspx#lstacouncil.aspx">LSTA Council</a>.<o:p></o:p></p>

<p class="MsoNormal">The State Library wishes the AAC to continue in the role of advising on the development, implementation, promotion and evaluation of Answerland. The ultimate vision is to create, maintain and continually improve a high-quality online reference
program that succeeds in serving the needs of all residents of Oregon.<o:p></o:p></p>

<p class="MsoNormal"><b>About Serving on the AAC<o:p></o:p></b></p>
<p class="MsoNormal">The State Library seeks representatives with experience and/or interest in virtual reference and collaborative library services, as well as a desire to reinvigorate and grow the Answerland program.<o:p></o:p></p>

<p class="MsoNormal">Initial terms begin July 1 2016, and can run for one, two, or three years (terms will be staggered to ensure the continuity of future membership).<o:p></o:p></p>
