The City Pair between Pendleton and Portland is being dropped from the contract. A new airline, SeaPort Air will begin flying from Portland to Pendleton December 2, 2008 using 9 seat aircraft. This airline is not under contract with the State. There are no restrictions for agencies to use this airline; however, agencies should do a cost analysis to determine which method of transportation, flying or driving, is more beneficial to the agency.
