SeaPort Airlines will offer non-stop service to Portland and Newport, and direct service to Seattle (Boeing Field) Passengers can also connect to flights to Pendleton. The service is available Monday-Friday. I have received several questions about contract restrictions. Since this service originates from Salem, there are no contractual restrictions from utilizing this service. Agencies still should conduct a best value analysis to determine if it's the best value for the agency before flying. Agencies still must book tickets on SeaPort through Azumano Travel. The DAS Sate Procurement Office is soliciting for city pairs and we are anticipating receiving an offer from SeaPort Airlines. The RFP closes in early May and can provide more information by mid-May. Another question I received was parking costs. Parking at the Salem Airport is $3.00 per day. If you need further information on this, feel free to contact me. Best regards, Tim A. The WSCA Lodging Database has been modified. The estimated rate now displays at the top of the search page for the city searched. There is no longer an estimated rate next to each hotel. This change was made to avoid the confusion of hotels offer rates lower than per-diem. If a hotel offers a lower rate, it will be highlighted with a green dollar sign. WSCA Lodging is also adding independent properties to the program. This will be completed by mid-June. We are also hoping to add another 7000 Wyndham properties at the same time also, bringing the total number of properties participating in WSCA Lodging to over 13,000 that offer at or below per-diem rates to state and other public employees. Please direct your travelers to use WSCA Lodging first when searching for hotel rooms in the United States. WSCA Lodging Properties are also available through Azumano's online booking tool ResX and can be booked in conjunction when booking airfare. WSCA Lodging is located at www.wscalodging.org or http://www.oregon.gov/DAS/SSD/SPO/wsca_lodging.shtml Best regards. Tim A.
