[Travel_Policy-News] New Per Diem rates effective 10/01/09

Travel Coordinators: 

The Federal Per Diem rates are changing on October 1, 2009, the first
day of the
federal fiscal year. As you make travel reservations, please be aware of
these new Per Diem rates in October. 

The standard Per Diem rate will still be $70 for lodging but the new
standard rate for meals and
incidental expenses will now be $46.  There are also several changes to
the "high-cost" localities.

Appendix A of the OAM travel policy (OAM 40.10.OO.PO) will also have an
updated link to the latest General Service Administration (GSA)
tables.
