Happy April West Coast Ocean Data Network! We have been busy on several
fronts of the West Coast Ocean Data Portal since our launch in January and
will be announcing new additions over the coming months. These include a
blog and networking platform to keep the Network connected, as well as
sleek visualization tools coming out of our Marine Debris Use Case project.

Thanks to all for the positive response on the Portal! For those of you who
have not had a chance to visit, please go to

actively working on connecting to new sources of data including those of
our federal partners. If you would like to see your data in the Portal,

*West Coast Ocean Data Network Meeting Summary*
We are excited to publish the summary from our West Coast Ocean Data
Network meeting last November. For those of you that couldn't attend we got
great feedback on the Portal, shared best practices, listened to Network
needs, and began identifying Data Diplomats from across the West Coast. You

is a way to formalize our Network and will feed directly into our soon to
